Jazz battles on at Queen’s Cup

Thailand’s teenager Jazz Janawattananond continued to put out another spirited performance by battling to an even-par 71 at the Queen’s Cup on Saturday. The Black Mountain player fell victim to demanding course nicknamed the Beast of Samui and mixed his card with two bogeys, one double-bogey and four birdies before signing for a three-day total of three-over-par 216.

Black Mountain sponsored teenager Jazz Janewattananond endured a day of mixed fortunes as he saw his gallant opening round efforts which included a hole-in-one quickly erased with a tepid performance in the second round where he cared a three-over-par 74 at the Queen’s Cup on Friday.

Karlberg in position at Nordea Masters

Rikard Karlberg of Sweden recovered from a second round 75 when he posted a four-under-par 68 to make huge strides in the penultimate round of the Nordea Masters on Saturday. The Black Mountain sponsored player posted six birdies against two bogeys for a six-under-par 210 total to trail the leaders Henrik Stenson of Sweden and Eddie Pepperell of England by seven shots at the PGA Sweden National.
