Looking ahead: Thongchai chases German success

Black Mountain’s Thongchai Jaidee will be one of the names to look out for when he tees off at the BMW International Open this week.

The Thai has been enjoying a good run of form, having won his second title in Europe at the Nordea Masters earlier this month and is currently ranked 41st on the Official World Golf Ranking.

Thongchai will have Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez and Germany’s Maximilian Kieffer for company in his opening round at the European Tour event which will also feature U.S. Open Champion Martin Kaymer of Germany as well as world number two Henrik Stenson of Sweden.

Another Black Mountain sponsored player Berry Henson of the United States will also be in action this week at the Scottish Hydro Challenge, a Challenge Tour event on the European Tour.
