Thongchai eyes improved performance at PGA Championship

Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee will look towards this week’s PGA Championship for an improved performance after he finished in a share of 52nd place at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational on Sunday.

The Black Mountain sponsored player posted a final round two-over-par 70 where his only highlight of the day was an eagle-three on the par-five two.

He would then mix five bogeys against another birdie on 15 to sign off with a four-day total of seven-over 287 at the year’s third World Golf Championship event

Thongchai will now travel to Louiseville where he has been paired with Korea’s K.J. Choi and Brian Harman of the United States in the opening two rounds of the PGA Championship.
