Jazz & Henson enjoy good result in Singapore

Jazz Janewattananond and Berry Henson posted solid results at the SMBC Singapore Open after closing with a 67 and 71 respectively on Sunday.

Jazz ended his campaign at the US$1 million Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour event in tied 11th place on a six-under-par 278 total while Henson, who held a share of the opening lead, finished a further shot back in tied 14th position.

“This week’s result has given me a huge confidence boost for the rest of the season. I have a new equipment sponsor in TaylorMade and the equipment I’ve been using is great and the scores are proving it too. I putted a lot better especially the last two days and have been hitting the ball very well too,” said Jazz.

It was a good finish by both players, who are sponsored by Black Mountain, during a frustrating week where bad weather stopped play numerous times. The suspensions forced officials to extend the tournament to a Monday finish where world number one Jordan Spieth will battle against Korea’s Younghan Song.
