Jazz first played his way into the history books of the Asian Tour in 2010 when he became the youngest ever player to make the halfway cut at the 2010 Asian Tour International in Bangkok at the age of 14 years and 71 days. He turned professional in 2012 and featured in five events on the Asian Tour. Enjoyed a solid 2013 campaign with three top-10s at the Queen’s Cup, Resorts World Manila Masters and Indonesia Open. Missed only two cuts all season. Expected to become a star on the Asian Tour.


What’s the most memorable moment of your career so far?
I don’t have a good finish yet. I think winning on the Asian Tour would be a memorable moment so I will have to wait for the win!

What do you do to relax when you’re home?
Learning how to play the guitar.

What’s the funniest/interesting thing a golf fan said to you on the golf course?
They asked me why my name is Jazz? I told them that’s because my father likes jazz music.

What’s your favourite club in the bag?
My putter as it is the most expensive club in the bag.

What’s your favourite movie?
Pirates of the Caribbean.

What did you think of the inaugural EurAsia Cup presented by DRB-HICOM?
I watched it on television and I hope that one day I can play in it.

What’s your favourite food on Tour?
Steak.

One sentence to describe the Asian Tour?
It is the Tour where I started my career.

Who’s your favourite superhero?
Superman.

What are your favourite sports apart from golf?
I used to be a swimmer when I was young. I quit the sport because I was too short. Now I like American Football because my dad likes it and I have to watch with him.

What’s better for your? A hole in one or loads of birdies?
A hole-in-one.

If you cook, what’s the best dish you can make?
I’m terrible at cooking so I have to say cup noodles.
