Driving range to be upgraded

The driving range at Black Mountain will be upgraded in July.
– The goal is to make it look more like the golf course, says Black Mountain course manager Richard Halls.
During the renovation period in July the range will be closed.

– We will renovate the grass hitting areas and the target greens, add some bunkers for visual effect, make adjustments to the drainage system, add some arrogation and mow fairway shapes to the area, says Halls.

The annual Asian Golf Awards is a combination of golf fans and expert panel voting in many categories, including Best Golf Course in Asia and Best Golf Course in Thailand.

Thongchai Jaidee hosts tournament at Black Mountain

Thailands best professional golfer and Black Mountain player Thongchai Jaidee hosts the Thongchai Jaidee Foundation Tournament which started today and will end Sunday.

In conjunction with the pro-am-dinner on Wednesday night an auction raised 1.6 million baht to the foundation. Read more

Thongchai does Black Mountain proud

Black Mountain sponsored star Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand made it another week to remember for Black Mountain after he held off a strong challenge from England’s Graeme Storm to win the Porsche European Open in Germany on Sunday.

Thongchai’s third win in Europe comes straight on the back of Sweden’s Rikard Karlberg, another Black Mountain sponsored player, victory in Italy last week.

Henson off to good start in Singapore

Black Mountain sponsored player Berry Henson is tied for the lead with one more hole to play in the opening round of the SMBC Singapore Open.
