Black Mountain sponsored star Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand made it another week to remember for Black Mountain after he held off a strong challenge from England’s Graeme Storm to win the Porsche European Open in Germany on Sunday.
Thongchai’s third win in Europe comes straight on the back of Sweden’s Rikard Karlberg, another Black Mountain sponsored player, victory in Italy last week.
Black Mountain sponsored player Rikard Karlberg won the 72° OPEN D’ITALIA presented by DAMIANI following a play-off with Martin Kaymer on a dramatic afternoon in Italy.
The Swede took advantage of Kaymer’s disappointing back-nine where the German had dropped three shots by storming home in 32 to force extra-time.
Black Mountain sponsored player Thongchai Jaidee believes the best way to give back to the sport which has brought him much success is to host his own tournament.

Hua Hin, Thailand, August 24: Black Mountain Golf Club is pleased to announce the staging of the inaugural Thongchai Jaidee Foundation at our award-winning course in September.
Thongchai, who is sponsored by Black Mountain, will host the four million baht (approximately US$111,808) event on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) and the All Thailand Tour from September 10 to 13.
Black Mountain sponsored player Rikard Karlberg of Sweden made his move with a second round three-under-par 68 to climb to tied-12th place at the Made in Denmark on Friday.
Black Mountain players Rikard Karlberg, Pelle Edberg and Johan Edfors will turn their attentions to the Made in Denmark tournament which starts later today.
Karlberg and Edberg have enjoyed some solid form recently and they hope to continue their fine run at the Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort.
Black Mountain sponsored star Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand opened his campaign with a two-over-par 74 at the PGA Championship on Thursday.
Fellow sponsored player Alex Cejka of Germany was a further two shots back on 74 at the year’s fourth and final Major where American Dustin Johnson currently holds the first round lead with his opening 66.
