Challenge awaits in Scotland

Followed by stars from the PGA Tour, four Black Mountain players are teeing up today in Scotland for the Scottish Open.

One of them is Thongchai Jaidee who finished in the top ten in last weeks tournament in France. The most remarkable moment from that tournament was his start on the third round, where he recorded six birdies on the first six holes.

Thongchai shows battling spirit in Germany

Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand produced a trademark fightback when he produced a four-under-par 68 in the opening round of the BMW International Open on Thursday.

The Black Mountain sponsored player recovered from two opening bogeys with six birdies which included three in a row from the 15th hole.

From Thailand to Chambers Bay

The second major of the year is finally here and the pro’s have gathered for the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay Golf Course just outside of Seattle.

One of the players is Black Mountain ambassador Thongchai Jaidee. With two top 10 finishes in his last three tournaments, including a runner up at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth. There will be many eyes targeting the Black Mountain player.

Jazz sings the right tune at home

June 14: Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond wrapped up an ‘enjoyable’ week on home soil when he finished tied-fourth at the Singha Corporation Thailand Open.

After opening with rounds of 69 and 66, the Black Mountain sponsored player mounted a charge over the weekend by posting a 68 before closing with a 72.

Always improving – Soon a totally new hole

New 3rd hole!

At Black Mountain, we are always improving the course. Soon the totally new par 3 third hole will be ready to play!

We are angling the hole to the left by moving the tee to the right and the green to the left of their current positions. Making the tee shot straight towards the mountain.

The creek left of the green will make an excellent water hazard and the bunker to the right will frame the hole in a beautiful way. The bunkers in front will be replaced by grass.

Six-iron is now my friend!

Thai golf pro Panuphol Pittayarat aced a HIO on the 14th and won a house.

Despite making the early exit after rounds of 75 and 71, Panuphol’s consolation is winning the four-story, three bedroom townhouse at the Black Mountain Golf Club.

Thongchai swings for the lead

Black Mountain’s Thongchai Jaidee is right now tied for first place at the Nordea Masters on PGA National in Malmoe. After a first half of his second round which contained an impressive four birdies he shares the lead with Spain’s Alvaro Quiros and four other players. Quiros has climbed his way to the top after two eye dropping eagles on holes one and eleven. Let’s hope Jaidee has something like that saved up for the final four holes of the day!
