Cejka needs weekend charge in Malaysia

Black Mountain sponsored player Alex Cejka of Germany will head into the weekend rounds of the CIMB Classic in tied-21st place, eight shots back of American leader Justin Thomas.

Cejka opened his Malaysian campaign brilliantly with an six-under-par 66 to take a share of third place after the first round.

However, the German veteran could only put together a round of 71, slipping back with his two-day total of seven-under-par 137 at the US$7 million event that is sanctioned by the PGA TOUR and Asian Tour. Read more

Black Mountain sponsored player Prom Meesawat emerged as the leading club sponsored players after an opening three-under-par 67 at the UBS Hong Kong Open. The Hua Hin native marked his card with five birdies and two bogeys at the US$2 million event which is sanctioned by the Asian and European Tour. Read more
