Finally – AirAsia To Fly Into Hua Hin!

It’s great news for the Thai city of Hua Hin. AirAsia has announced that it will commence scheduled flights to Hua Hin from Malaysia’s capital city of Kuala Lumpur.

The initial service will offer four weekly direct flights starting 18 May 2018.

Commenting on this new development, Harald Elisson, managing director of Black Mountain Golf Club said, “This is fantastic news – we have been waiting for this for a very long time and now we can all look forward to increased tourist traffic from the region via Kuala Lumpur.”

To commemorate the announcement of the new route, AirAsia is offering promotional all-in-fares from THB 990* one way on Airasia.com and on AirAsia’s mobile app from now till March 2018 for travel period between 18 May 2018 and 26 October 2018.

As a truly ASEAN airline, the latest route to Hua Hin marks AirAsia seventh direct destination connection between Malaysia and Thailand.

Spencer Lee, Head of Commercial, AirAsia Malaysia said, “We are thrilled to introduce Kuala Lumpur-Hua Hin route as the latest addition to our ever-growing network. Since launching Phuket in 2003 as our first international route from Kuala Lumpur, we currently have flights to seven cities in Thailand. In 2017 alone, we carried about 1.3 million of guests from Kuala Lumpur to Thailand. Moreover, Thailand was ranked ninth among the world’s most visited countries by the United Nation’s World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) report published in 2017. Hence, we are positive that Hua Hin will be the new preferred holiday destination and hope that the new route will further contribute to the tourism growth for both cities.”
