Henson eyes swinging good time in the Philippines

Black Mountain sponsored player Berry Henson of the United States returns to winning ground in the Philippines where he hopes for another grandstand finish again. The American won his maiden Asian Tour title here in 2011 and will be looking to renew his love affair with the course with a swinging good time.

“Wack Wack is a special place for me. I call it the Augusta of the Philippines! It just has that feel.

It is a great place and I have a lot of good memories here. It has been a rough start for me earlier in the year.

I switched coaches after the Maybank Malaysian Open (working with Mike Wilson) who I’ve had a lot of success previously.

We made some changes in my swing very quickly and I feel that I’m in good form this week. I’m excited to start.

You got to stay patient on this golf course. I feel that it is playing a bit easier than when I won. The rough is down.

The green speed is not quick or slow. It is at a good pace right now. You got to hit fairways and greens here and the player with the lowest putts will win.”
