Jaidee and Karlberg eyeing top spot at the Nordea Masters

The third day of the Nordea Masters on PGA National in Malmoe saw two of the remaining Black Mountain players defend their positions close to the top of the standings.

Karlberg bounced back from yesterday’s round to post an impressive four under par 68 which included six birdies and a few more opportunities to slice yet another two or three strokes off his scorecard. Karlberg heads into the final round at a total of six under par, seven shots behind Swedish leader and world number two Henrik Stenson.

Even better placed in the standings is fellow Black Mountain player Thongchai Jaidee. Jaidee has probably been the most consistent player in this tournament, posting three consecutive rounds of 70 or below. Today Jaidee had an impressive second half of his round which featured no less than five birdies in his last eight holes. Going into the final day of play Jaidee is tied for seventh place, only four shots away from the top of the leaderboard.

Sebastian Söderberg finished his third round with a beautiful birdie on the 18th hole and is right now one stroke over par for the tournament.
