Prom blog: Aiming for more glory!

After winning his second Asian Tour title after eight years, Prom Meesawat of Thailand is now aiming for more glory starting at the Asia-Pacific Open Golf Championship Diamond Cup in Japan.

The Black Mountain sponsored player will be among an elite cast in the Y150,000,000 (approximately US$1,460,000) event. Considering his rich vein of form, Prom is tipped to be one of the title contenders this week.

I’ve been waiting for such a long time for my second win and it came at the Yeangder Tournament Players Championship. It was an amazing win because I waited eight years for it!

In that eight years, a lot of things happened in my life. I was injured and I struggled to regain my best form. I’m glad that I’m now playing some of my best golf and I’m looking forward to play good and trying to win my next title.

My first goal for this year was to get my second win but now I hope for a good finish on the Order of Merit. There are a lot of big tournaments coming up so I hope to do well and improve my rankings.

I’m now sponsored by Black Mountain and I’m very happy with this new sponsorship because I come from Hua Hin. I’m glad that I’ve performed well to make my sponsors happy.
