Spirited Jazz continues battle with another 72

Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond continued to put up another spirited performance as he posted his third consecutive even-par 72 to head into his final round at the ICTSI Philippine Open five shots back of Korean American leader Chan Kim.

At only 18 years old, the Black Mountain sponsored player showed maturity and confidence beyond his age as he kept up the pressure on the other more established stars from the Asian Tour to end his third round in tied-13th place.

Starting on the first tee, the Thai turned in 36 after trading two bogeys against two birdies.

He mixed another two bogeys and two birdies in his inward-nine to compile a three-day total of even-par 216 at the Asian Tour event.

“I hit it good like the first few days but I couldn’t hole putts. I shot even-par for three days but I’m happy because it is a good score at Wack Wack! I’m in a good position for another solid result,” said Jazz.

Meanwhile Berry Henson, another Black Mountain sponsored player, had another day to forget after he posted a 76 to share equal 57th place with four other players on 224 total.
