Black Mountain Scores Big At Asian Awards!

Black Mountain Golf Club scored big yet again at the 2018 Asian Golf Awards that was staged at the plush -5-star Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel.

Amongst the numerous awards that the club received were two awards that have set it up amongst the best of the best in the Asia Pacific. The first is the prestigious Asia Pacific Order of Zenith, the absolute highest honour that can be bestowed upon a club. This award places Black Mountain in a very exclusive grouping of golf clubs which are universally recognised as the best in the region.

The other elite award saw the induction of the club’s general manager, Harald Elisson (pictured receiving his award from Angela Raymond, President of the Asia Pacific Golf Group) into the Asia Pacific Legion of Leaders. Like the Zenith Award, the Legion of Leaders recognises a select group of club general managers as the best in the Asia Pacific. Elisson joins a small inaugural group of peers who have been installed in this highest of highest category of leaders in the club management industry.

“I am honoured to have been inducted into this select group of general managers and it will only help to drive me to serve my club and my profession with great pride,” said Elisson.

The full awards list received by Black Mountain will be released within the next few days.

Meanwhile, the founder and owner of Black Mountain, Stig Notlov was honoured as a member of “The Most Powerful People In Golf” in the Asia Pacific.
