BREAKING: Black Mountain awarded Best Golf Course in Asia/Pacific – for a third time

Best Golf Course in Asia Pacific – for a third time. Best Golf Course in Thailand – for a seventh time. Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin, Thailand, was heavily awarded at the Asia Golf Awards 2017, held Thursday night in Danang, Vietnam.
”I am humbled but very proud. This is such a recognition! We are such a great team at Black Mountain. From the owner to all in the staff. To again be awarded, and have so many great competitors behind us, is a true testimony to our process at delivering a golf course in great condition year around, says Black Mountain general manager Harald Elisson.

Black Mountain stays on top

It is one challenge to win a price once. It is another to stay on the top and win again. Black Mountain has been awarded Best Golf Course in Thailand 7 straight years. For the last 3 years, Black Mountain has been named Best Golf Course in Asia Pacific.

”We never rest. In the last year we have opened and adjusted nine new holes at Black Mountain, which drastically increases the capacity of players. We have done major improvements to the driving range, putting green and re-constructed the third green. With success and recognition comes expectations and we work hard every day to not only live up to, but exceed this expectations, says Harald Elisson.

At the ceremony, Black Mountain founder Stig Notlov, was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
