Black Mountain official opening 27 hole golf resort

Black Mountain Official 27 holes opening on 20 October 2017.

Black Mountain in Hua Hin, Thailand, is officially open as a 27 hole golf resort. Thai golf superstar Thongchai Jaidee and touring pro Simon Yates made the ceremonial first tee shot on 20 October.

Black Mountain founder Stig Notlov and European Tour professional, and Black Mountain member, Johan Edfors designed the new nine holes, named the West Course. The construction started in late 2015. In December 2016, the initial testing of the course began.

Official opening of 27 hole golf resort

After a successful testing period, the course underwent some adjustments and fine tuning during the summer of 2017. On 20th October 2017 the new nine holes opened officially. It is  now integrated with the rest of Black Mountain Golf Resort.

Black Mountain has been named Thailands Best Golf Course 6 straight years. In 2017, Golf Digest named Black Mountain one of Asias best golf resorts in 2017.
