Jazz sings the right tune at home

June 14: Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond wrapped up an ‘enjoyable’ week on home soil when he finished tied-fourth at the Singha Corporation Thailand Open.

After opening with rounds of 69 and 66, the Black Mountain sponsored player mounted a charge over the weekend by posting a 68 before closing with a 72.

The 19-year-old reflected on his week in Pattaya.

“This is my best finish in an international event on home soil. I would say my round today was ‘not bad’ apart from the last hole. Scoring was tough today.

You can see the scores – not many people played well out there expect for the two leaders who played exceptional golf. I can take a lot of good things for this.

I hope I have many more Thailand Opens to come. It is one of my main goals to win my home Open.”

Prom Meesawat, another Black Mountain sponsored player signed off with a 72 to finish tied for sixth.
