Prom blog: Another top-10!

Prom Meesawat of Thailand shot a final round one-under-par 71 to finish tied ninth at the King’s Cup on Sunday. It was the Black Mountain sponsored player’s sixth top-10 including his victory in Taipei earlier this year. His total of 13-under-par 275 was seven shots from the champion Thaworn Wiratchant.

Despite missing out on a second win this year, Prom was still happy with his fine form.

“Another happy result for me. A top-10 which is nice. I’m still playing good but I did not get a good finish in the final round. But I’m still pleased with my form,” said Prom.

“I’ll try to do my best for the last three events on the Asian Tour, hopefully remain in a good position on the leaderboard all the time and we’ll see what happens then.

“That win in Taipei really boosted my confidence as I played really good golf after that win and that helps with where I am on the Order of Merit now,” he added.
