About

Our Story

Black Mountain Golf Club is an exclusive golf community ten kilometres west of the quaint city of Hua Hin, Thailand.

It is the result of Swedish entrepreneur Stig Notlöv’s unrelenting golf dream, and opened in April 20, 2007. Numerous awards followed rapidly, and just five years after the first rounds were played, Black Mountain became the first course in Thailand to be included in US Golf Digest’s list of the Best 100 Courses Outside the United States.

Today, Black Mountain Golf Club is a flourishing community as well as the largest employer of the region. With 27 holes, a popular restaurant, spa, wakeboard park, water park, and numerous recreational activities, it is a desirable travel destination for visitors of every kind.

New luxury course-side properties are constantly being built, and with the latest addition of an international school, Black Mountain Golf Club is more than just a place to visit. It is a place to live.
