International flights to and from Hua Hin is close to reality as early as the end of the year. The airport authority has received a proposal from the Malaysian low-cost carrier Air Asia to operate daily flights between Hua Hin and its major hub in Kuala Lumpur.
Hua Hin is located between two climate zones making the total rain fall over a year a fraction compared with southern Thai turist destination such as Phuket and Krabi.
The driving range at Black Mountain will be upgraded in July.
– The goal is to make it look more like the golf course, says Black Mountain course manager Richard Halls.
During the renovation period in July the range will be closed.
– We will renovate the grass hitting areas and the target greens, add some bunkers for visual effect, make adjustments to the drainage system, add some arrogation and mow fairway shapes to the area, says Halls.
